On 15 Sep, singularity interpreted Sam Altman’s suggestion that it was time for an OpenAI party as a hint of another model announcement. By 22 Sep, it said Altman was strongly suggesting that video generation was coming back.

LocalLLaMA said Microsoft had confirmed that OpenAI was using Looped Transformers in the GPT-6 series. OpenAI published a model guide for the GPT-6 family covering model choice, reasoning effort, and tool use. A separate ChatGPT item was identified only as “Sam Altman, November 2025”.
