Claude Opus 4.6 Protocol Testing

BACKGROUND
3 SIGNALSFIRST DETECTED 19 August 2026UPDATED 17 October 2026
The NewsHive View

On 19 August, ArtificialInteligence reported that Claude Opus 4.6 completed 900 out of 900 executions with zero-byte outputs under a frozen protocol. It said every run produced no visible output and asked whether an AI agent should retry after such a response. It placed the claim within a “Cross-Vendor Semantic Void Matrix” covering GPT, Claude, Gemini, and Kimi. The same Claude Opus 4.6 claim appeared on OpenAI and ChatGPT that day. The tracked signals contain no later test results or protocol details, so the repeated 900/900 figure is the entire record. A perfect score for producing nothing is technically tidy, at least.

If factual, the impact is 0%. The test operators received no visible output across all 900 executions. This raised a retry-policy question for agents using that protocol. The event records no change for Claude users or deployed products.

Watch for publication of the frozen protocol, execution logs, and environment details, followed by independent attempts to reproduce the 900 zero-byte outputs. A documented retry test would show whether the failure persists or clears on another execution.

Claude Opus 4.6 returned no visible output 900/900 times. Should an AI agent retry that?
